What is a Cotton sponge cake?
Cotton sponge cake is commonly sold in Asian cake shops, it has less sugar and dairy (no butter) and is much lighter than other regular sponge cakes. The cake is baked in a water bath for one and a half hour to produce a much more soft and moist sponge.Do you want fresh whipped cream for the cake cover? Just ask us!
*Cake must be refrigerated and cannot be on display for long. Fresh whipped cream colouring will be much lighter than buttercream. Pastel colours only.
