The Strawberries & cream chocolate cotton cake consists of two soft, light, and fluffy chocolate cotton sponges and a layer of fresh strawberries & cream filling; covered with Chantilly cream (sweeten whipped cream) and topped with fresh strawberries.

A classic combination of chocolate, strawberries and cream.

What is Cotton sponge cake?

Cotton sponge cake is commonly sold in Asian cake shops, it has less sugar and dairy (no butter) and is much lighter than other regular sponge cakes. The cake is baked in a water bath for one and a half hour to produce a much more soft and moist sponge.
