The Chestnut cream cotton cake consists of two soft, light, and fluffy cotton sponges and a layer of a chestnut paste mixed with cream filling; covered with Chantilly cream (sweeten whipped cream) and topped with three seasonal fresh fruit.The chestnut paste is made from chestnut pureed with sugar.
What is a Cotton sponge cake?
Cotton sponge cake is commonly sold in Asian cake shops, it has less sugar and dairy (no butter) and is much lighter than other regular sponge cakes. The cake is baked in a water bath for one and a half hour to produce a much more soft and moist sponge.| Size (available in square or round) |
